Commitment

On the Datai Network, participants are held responsible to their commitments to ensure the integrity of the data. A commitment is a financially secured promise to deliver a projection by a certain date. When you commit to a projection, you are expected to deliver it by the agreed-upon date. If you fail to deliver the projection by the agreed-upon date, your stake will be moved as a grant towards the next developer who is willing to commit, and deliver a given projection.

What is a Commitment?

A Commitment is a stake of DATAI tokens using Projection Registry contract.

Each commitment lasts 5 epochs (5 * 24 hours).

Currently the commitment amount is set to 100 DATAI tokens. Staking amounts may change over time based on market and network conditions.

  1. Visit the Datai Network Console (coming soon)

  2. Use the explorer to find projections that are not yet developed.

  3. Open the projection details and click on the “Commit” button.

  4. Review the commitment details and proceed with the stake & commitment.

  5. Confirm the transaction in your wallet and wait for the network confirmation.
